Clearview Early Learning Center originally opened in 1954 and operated as an elementary school for many years. In 2006, Clearview became the home of Martinsville City Public Schools’ preschool program. Clearview participates in the Virginia Preschool Initiative (VPI) program, serving students ages three and four in our VPI-3 and VPI-4 classrooms. Clearview also offers Early Childhood Special Education services for qualifying students ages two through five. Each year, Clearview serves approximately 115 students and their families, laying the foundation for education and encouraging a love for learning.
